Order Processing: Please note that shipping time does not include the production time required to custom-mix and blend your precise paint match. Production time can take 2-5 business days and some paint colors require more time to perfect.

Color Selection: To ensure you get a satisfactory match, orders must be placed using your vehicle’s factory color code. Ordering by color name alone or guessing the color may result in an incorrect blend. Because paint is custom-made, paint products are non-refundable. We strongly recommend verifying your color code before ordering using our online color code resources available here PAINT CODES.

Order Cancellations: Paint orders are custom produced and may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, cancellations are not possible (weekend exemptions are made).

Shipping: We currently offer ground shipping within the contiguous 48 United States. Upgraded shipping options may be available at checkout for additional purchase.

Testing your Paint (Required): Before applying paint to your vehicle, you must test the color to ensure you have a blendable match.

  • Test on the provided test card, a business card, or another coated surface
  • Apply both basecoat and clearcoat per instructions
  • Allow the test to dry completely
  • Compare the test sample to your vehicle in natural light
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify a satisfactory match before application. Applying paint without testing may result in costly rework at the customer’s expense. If paint is applied without proper testing we cannot provide refunds, replacements, remixes, or additional products. Please make sure to thoroughly shake all paint products for at least 15 minutes, before spraying/applying to ensure a better match and better application process.

Returns & Refunds: Because paint is custom mixed:

  • No refunds or returns are available for paint products
Non-paint items may be returned if they are:
  • Unused and undamaged
  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Approved in advance by Customer Service
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and returns must include tracking and delivery confirmation. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment only and can only be made with returned product.
Returns cannot be accepted for:
  • Application errors
  • Failure to read instructions
  • Ordering the wrong color or quantity
  • Change of mind or no longer needing the product
  • Vehicle sold before delivery
To request return approval, contact Customer Service by submitting a support ticket through our website.

Color Match Guarantee: We guarantee a blendable color match to original factory (OEM) paint when ordered by correct color code. Make sure to thoroughly shake all paint products before use or when testing on the test card.
This guarantee only applies to:

  • Original factory paint
  • Vehicle models of year 2010 or newer
  • Requests submitted within 30 days of receipt
  • Paint that has been properly tested before application
If you are not satisfied, submit a support ticket for review. Refunds or remixes are not available outside these conditions.

Why a Color May Not Match: Common reasons include:

  • Incorrect color code selected
  • Vehicle previously repainted
  • Paint fade due to age, sun exposure, or environmental factors
These conditions are normal and outside our control.

Product Liability: By using our products, you acknowledge responsibility for proper testing and application.
AutomotiveTouchup is not liable for vehicle damage, spills, or misuse of products.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the product.
This includes accidents or spills that may result in damage to any personal valuables including but not limited to vehicle, home, and clothing.

Product Shelf Life: When stored between 60°F and 80°F, touch-up and aerosol products typically last 24–36 months.

Safety & Handling: Customers are responsible for using products safely.

  • Follow all instructions carefully
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Keep products away from children and pets
  • Open and use products in well-ventilated areas
  • Dispose of materials according to local regulations
  • SDS sheets are available for all products upon request.

Delivery Support: Once an order is scanned and delivered, we require timely notification -- within 7 days -- of any delivery issues. Failure to notify us in a timely manner or refusal to cooperate with delivery service investigations may forfeit eligibility for refunds or replacements.
Missing Package even though scanned as delivered. Please contact us right away. To proceed, we require the following:

  • A contact name, verified email and phone number to share with our delivery service, as they often need to follow up directly.
  • Signed Non-Receipt Affidavit: we can provide this form once your contact info is verified.
Without this information, we cannot file a formal claim or send a replacement, per our delivery service requirements. Please note that our delivery carrier’s scanning of delivery includes GPS tracking, which allows them to confirm the exact location where the package was dropped off.

Incorrect Shipping Address Policy: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If an incorrect or incomplete address is entered and results in a failure of delivery or the package being returned to us, we are not responsible for the lost or delayed shipment.
If the package is returned to our facility, we will attempt to contact you to arrange re-shipment (which will incur an additional shipping fee).
Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable in these cases.

Chargeback Policy & Fraud Prevention Notice: We are committed to providing transparent service, high-quality products, and clear communication. To protect our business and the community we serve, we have implemented the following policies regarding chargebacks and payment disputes:

  1. Unauthorized Charge Claims:
    Filing a chargeback for a valid, authorized purchase is considered fraudulent activity and will be investigated accordingly.
  2. Abuse of the Chargeback Process:
    We take chargeback abuse seriously. Submitting false claims to your bank in an effort to obtain a refund outside our published Return Policy is considered a form of friendly fraud. We reserve the right to dispute any such claims with evidence of your purchase, including shipping confirmation, tracking details, and website checkout records.
  3. Legal Action and Collections:
    If funds are reversed through a chargeback that is determined to be invalid, we reserve the right to recover the funds through collections, and where applicable, pursue legal remedies for loss or damages caused by the false claim.
  4. Blacklisting and Account Closure:
    Customers who engage in chargeback abuse may be permanently restricted from making future purchases with us.
  5. Return Policy Compliance:
    We clearly post our Return Policy on this page. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
