Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Acura SLX is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Rudolph B, owner of a 2001 Acura from Lakewood, NJ

I was very pleased the base color is a perfect match that covered very well, spray cans worked very well, the cost was very reasonable, I will recommend to my friends.

Julia R, owner of a 2001 Acura MDX from El Cerrito, CA

Took a little while for delivery; but they did explain that it would take 2-3 weeks because of the mixing and prep process. Ordered three small vials. They come with brushes. Have only tried the one for my 2001 MDX. The car has been garaged for 15 years so the paint has hardly faded. The match was perfect! Considering this is a 15 year old car, not too bad at all. Price I think, is much less than the dealer and probably more accurate than Pep Boys. Have not had an opportunity to try the other two vials for my 2 and 9 year old cars respectively.
