Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1993 Alfa Romeo Gtv is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Tommy O, owner of a 1992 Alfa Romeo Spider from Marietta, GA

First of all I will say your products perform very well. The two part clear coat sprays and covers like it came out of a real spray gun, I only wish the base coat would spray as well. The color for my 92 Alfa Spider is very close, however just a shade off with a little too much blue in the mix. Most people can't tell I've painted the hood, but if you put on polarized sun glasses you can see the miss match. Your products have served me well. I only wish you could do a custom match to my car. Thank you, Tommy Orr

Tommy Orr, owner of a 1992 Alfa Romeo Spider from Marietta, GA

I'm going through a mild restoration on my 1992 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. The paint looks good at a distance, however I would like the colors to be how it came from the factory. The years have washed out the true color green to a nice hunter green, but that's not the color I want. I purchased a spray can and clear coat of the color of my car to paint the under side of the hood before I installed new hood insulation or hood pads. The paint cover very well and the clear coat really did its job of glossing up the base coat. The product flows out of the spray can like you were shooting it from a sprayer. The paint and clear coat dried very fast, I'd say less than 24 hours till I didn't feel any tacky or soft feel to the paint. I waited 48 hours till I installed the hood back to the car. I'm about to paint the under side of the trunk next week. This spring I will paint the outside of the car. I can't wait. I also have a 2012 Ford F150 Lariat in Slate Metallic Gray. I've used the touch up pen on rock chips and a few boo boos I've done and it matches perfect if you know how to touch up little pits or rock chips. Go on Utube and watch some videos before you try to touch up. It's worth the viewing. I tell everyone at the car shows I go to about Automotivetouchup and how great the products and service is. In Atlanta we have a monthly car show call Caffeine and Octane, the show airs on NBC/sn on Thursday nights.
