Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1957 Austin Rover (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Color is a perfect match for my 1964 MGB!!

Andrew, owner of a 1968 Austin Rover from WA

Bought a 12 oz aerosol to try your product, which I had not used before. I used it to do preventative touch-up work on a recently purchased car with an older repaint and also re-shot both lower sills (using one can). I still have ~1/4 of it left. The sills had been repaired and painted black (versus the original and correct blue). Very pleased with your product. The color was a bit darker than what is on the rest of the car but as mentioned, it had been repainted. Though coming from a spray can, the paint went on smoothly with good coverage and the result looks like it was laid down with a gun. Considering the quality and coverage, the price is good. I am happy and have already recommended your product to others in my club. Thank you for providing a reasonably priced, high quality product - I will very likely be a repeat customer.

I'm posting this as a repeat customer who has had good luck when using their products on a number of separate projects. I've used both the aerosol sprays (and clear) as well as their bottle based auto paint with good results in each instance. I've recommended them to others and would definitely buy from Automotive Touchup again.
