Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 BMW 6-Series is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jim Haines, owner of a 2000 BMW Z3 from Tucson

I have a 200 BMW Z3 roadster that was in pristine condition save for some dents in the low-hanging air dam at the front resulting from unintended contact with concrete curbs in parking lots. I decided to patch the dents and dings myself using polyester filler. After sanding and priming, I used Automotive Touchup Base coat color mixed to match the rare and beautiful BMW Sienna Red Metallic color (BMW code 362). I was absolutely blown away by the perfect color match with the thirteen year old finish. After clear coating, it is indistinguishable from the original paint, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality retouch job and doesn't mind paying a few extra bucks for a superior quality product.

Michael M, owner of a 2000 BMW Z3 from Marietta, GA

I have used their paint twice. Once on a BMW spoiler, and once on a motorcycle helmet. In both cases the results were fantastic! The BMW was a perfect match, including the shine after the clear coat. The helmet looks like it was painted professionally. I have used a lot of spray paint, but I have never received such great results.
