Choose your Automotive paint color for your 1956 Buick (All Models)

Restore Your 1956 Buick (All Models) Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Buick's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1956 Buick (All Models) using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Click here for Buick paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Please note: The 'All Models' pages sometimes have a large amount of results to scroll through, if your vehicle's model is in the list of options on the prior screen we recommend trying that first.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1956 Buick (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

George H, owner of a 1956 Buick from Union, WA

Very impressed. I had my doubts going in. After all, it's a '56 Buick, but after seeing how it handled those small nicks and chips I'd recommend your product to anyone.

Vicky, owner of a 1956 Buick from Magnolia, TX

Never thought this was going to work... 1956 Buick coupe, original paint, two tone, color in review is Cambridge Blue in a can. I dropped a jack stand on the rear tail light sheet metal and not only it took off a 3 in by 4 in area of paint, it put a dent too. Taking it to the shop was not an option, it was a small repair according to their standards, not an insurance claim, so not any of the two shops I talked to, was willing to do the repair. After I was done with it, you could not tell where the factory paint stopped and the can paint begun... 3 lights coats of paint, 3 light coats of clear. Whole area with the feathering took 7 by 6 inches. I am not a body/paint man, Eastwood supplied the filler, your paint though ROCKS! Impressive how a 60 yearly paint can be such a perfect match... Thank you for fixing my stupid mistake...

Ken L, owner of a 1956 Buick from Canfield, OH

Paint was a good match. Cost was a little much.
