Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:
Brian K, owner of a 1985 Cadillac Eldorado from Indianapolis, IN
This is the second time I have used their paints for repairs. Once on my Taurus for a replacement mirror and this time for painting replacement filler panels for the rear of my Eldorado. The color match is great! I painted all of the pieces that would be required for replacing all of the rear fillers of the Eldorado with one can of color. However, I would order 2 cans of the clear to make sure that you have enough paint for any sanding or polishing. I could only apply 3 coats of clear with one can. Also, wait at least 3 - 5 days before polishing as is the case of all modern materials, they shrink for a while.
Thomas W, owner of a 1989 Cadillac Allante from Dumas, TX
I purchased a touch 1 ounce bottle of the brush on Grey for my 1989 Cadillac Allante. The color matched the car very well. I used it on a couple of door knocks that it had, after just one coat you could hardly see the damage any more. I applied 3 coats total, and you really have to look to see where it was applied. This is the second time I've used purchased touch up paint from this company, both times have been very happy with the results.
Bill, owner of a 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV from Outer Spiral Arm ~ Milky Way
100% thumbs up.
Excellent, custom mixed color basecoat that matched perfectly. Also purchased primer, clearcoat, sandpaper, 3M tape and spray can lever, the latter of which is highly recommended.
Read the website docs, watch the videos, read the instructions on the can and with just a bit of attention to detail, but no prior experience, you will be most pleased with the result. My 19+ year old Cadillac Escalade ESV has been pampered since she had a scant 17 miles on the clock but road salt began taking a toll on her wheel arches. No body shops repair rust and the fenders are no longer in production. But for a relatively negligible expense I can keep her looking immaculate.
The woman who left a return voice mail after I inquired about the order's status after two weeks might be better suited to a role other than interacting with customers, but her somewhat brusque demeanor would in no way prevent me from doing business with Automotive Touchup (Microfinish LLC) in the future. They *had* just been closed temporarily due to a hurricane, of which I was not aware, but I didn't need a schoolmarm lecturing me about the projected timeframes posted on their website.
But given the quality of the product, a rough around the edges staffer is a minor quibble. If you're a Car Guy/Gal obsessed with preserving your chariot, *this* is the company to turn to.
