Choose your Automotive paint color for your 1955 Cadillac (All Models)

Restore Your 1955 Cadillac (All Models) Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Cadillac's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1955 Cadillac (All Models) using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Click here for Cadillac paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Please note: The 'All Models' pages sometimes have a large amount of results to scroll through, if your vehicle's model is in the list of options on the prior screen we recommend trying that first.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1955 Cadillac (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David L S, owner of a 1956 Cadillac from Highland, CA

I have purchased touch up paint for several cars and the colors have always been a perfect match. I also like how spray cans atomize the paint when spraying. Always a perfect finish.

Charles B, owner of a 1956 Cadillac from Crawford, CO

Very nice paint. The color was a close match, closer than I would have guessed on a 62 year old car. Had trouble with the clear coat splattering. I wet sanded it and buffed it so it came out all right.

Charlie B, owner of a 1956 Cadillac from Crawford, CO

A good quality paint, very nice for touch up. The green was very close to original. Probably didn't match exactly because of age. One of my cans of clear coat was sputtery not sure what was up with that, just entailed more work to sand and buff. I would probably use this product again.
