Restore Your 1986 Cadillac Catera Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Cadillac's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1986 Cadillac Catera using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1986 Cadillac Catera is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Brian K, owner of a 1985 Cadillac Eldorado from Indianapolis, IN

This is the second time I have used their paints for repairs. Once on my Taurus for a replacement mirror and this time for painting replacement filler panels for the rear of my Eldorado. The color match is great! I painted all of the pieces that would be required for replacing all of the rear fillers of the Eldorado with one can of color. However, I would order 2 cans of the clear to make sure that you have enough paint for any sanding or polishing. I could only apply 3 coats of clear with one can. Also, wait at least 3 - 5 days before polishing as is the case of all modern materials, they shrink for a while.

Thomas E R, owner of a 1985 Cadillac from Zephyrhills, FL

Great paint all I need to do now is order the right color.
