I found the color match to be perfect. The only problem I had was it was a bit too thick. I had to have it professionally wet sanded with 2000, buffed and waxed. But the car looks fabulous.

Someone scraped the rear fascia on my wife's '12 SRX. I knew from experience it would have been a minimum of $250 for a repair as the body shops would want to respray the entire fascia. I bought an aerosol can of the Crystal Red and some clear, sanded the marks out, primed, painted, & cleared the area. I had a difficult time finding where the repair was after completion-the color match was perfect! We just traded the vehicle on a '14 and I purchased some touchup for it as well-being the Platinum Ice color it may be a bit more challenging, but I'm ready for the first ding.

Perfect match! I couldn't be happier. I would have thought the Cadillac Metallic Gold Mist would not have had a perfect match out of a spray can. I was wrong. I backed into a bike rack on a car in a parking lot and didn't see the rack as it was below my rear windshield. Had two areas with deep scratches through the base coat on the hatchback, but didn't dent the metal. I used 600 grit silicon carbide sandpaper to smooth it out and should have done a better job on that. It is a very slight imperfection that no one will see. Key is follow the directions on the can, multiple light coats. I would recommend automotive touchup without hesitation. Product and match couldn't be better.

My wife's SRX rear fascia got scratched by someone's briefcase or something-through the clear so just polishing out the damage was not an option. I bought the correct Crystal Red along with the high gloss clear, sanded it down, painted, and was more than satisfied with the results. I assumed that color would be a tough one to match but I was able to blend within the panel area and unless one knew I worked on it you would not be able to tell. A bit more polishing of the clear this weekend will further minimize my work. Very satisfied with the product!
