Restore Your 1997 Chevrolet Ssr Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Chevrolet's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 Chevrolet Ssr using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 Chevrolet Ssr is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Lowell A, owner of a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan from Mound, MN

It has been quite a while since I have done any body work on cars. I have to say that the Automotive Touch Up base coat and clear coat wound up a perfect match on my vehicle. After I got the rust out and sanding done, the coats went on smoothly. The result is OK(mostly my body filling technique)but the color is right on. I have to do some extra buffing on the repair site and I expect I can even out the blend. I appreciate the fast service on the paint delivery and the excellent color match. I would certainly use your products again in the future. Also, the video tips on your web site are very helpful. As in anything, the more times I do this, the better my results will be.

Eric S, owner of a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban from Peoria, AZ

The color was a dead mach! This was the first time I attempted any type of paint project. I was way short on paint!!! I needed to paint my 2 front fenders and hood. I'm sure there's somewhere to look up how much paint you need, but it would be nice if it were a little easier to find. PS I ended up using a cheaper product on the hood and it's not even close...
