I recently ordered a paintable front grill, and towing mirrors for my 2002 Suburban. I didn't want to pay $400 to have them painted so I looked for another option. I found this product online while I was searching around and the reviews looked great. I have to say I was bit of a sceptic at first. I ordered a couple cans of the Dark Grey paint, primer, and clear coat. It was very affordable and came in the next week. I sprayed a sample on the test strip that was included. It was an exact match to the factory color. I did all my prep work and applied the primer. After the primer was good to go I then applied a couple coats of the base. I came back the next day and added 2 coats of clear. The paint was very easy to apply just be sure to keep the can moving to avoid runs. After everything was dry I installed them on my truck. It looks like the grill and mirrors were painted by a professional. I didn't even use a full can of the paint for this project so I have plenty for later. I would highly recommend this product for your DIY project.
Jody H, owner of a 2002 Chevrolet from The Villages, FL
I was apprehensive about spraying the paint on some scratches on the van's doors fearing mismatch and the appearance of an amateur attempt at touch up. The vehicle's exterior is nearly pristine with almost 240,000 miles on the odometer, so it's apparent it's been maintained and cared for.
I couldn't be happier with the results! The scratches disappeared, and if you didn't know where to look, you'd never know they were there in the first place.
The spray can is in the glove compartment, just in case, and automotivetouchup.com is in my Favorites folder.
You saved me a bundle of money not having to use a body shop. Thank you!
