Restore Your 2001 Chevrolet Tavera Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Chevrolet's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2001 Chevrolet Tavera using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Chevrolet Tavera is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Kelly H, owner of a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban from WA

I ordered the touch up kit to repair some small dings and deep scratches in the paint of my 2002 suburban to prevent rust. The paint was a quite good match (probably original paintjob is slightly faded/changed since older vehicle) but not perfect. (Note that the paint originally looked way too dark in the bottle, but once I shook it well, color was very very close.) No instructions came with the kit, but I was able to figure things out without too much trouble. Little bit difficult to use the brushes that came with the kit-- primer went on too thick, touch up paint went on too thin and took several layers. Could have made it look better if I'd taken more time/been more careful, but ended up reasonably cosmetic. As long as it holds up and doesn't rust, I'll be happy.

Donna P, owner of a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier from Westerly, RI

To be honest, I was skeptical about ordering a special order touch- up paint online. This was a discontinued color for a 2002 car. I have not completed the entire job yet but I did test the paint in some areas to check it out. I was AMAZED!. The color was DEAD ON! I will post pictures when the job is done. Trust me, I am a picky person! Have recommended to others and will use again.
