Hope I never have to use it on my new truck 'caus that means someone or something has damaged the new finish. Having said that, that's why I bought the 'touch up' paint to match the original color Just in case of these types of situations happening. People just don't care about other people's vehicles and it's up to you to protect your valuable asset you've spent many $thousands of dollars on! Bought this for my wife's vehicle also and she had a mark on her rear deck lid on the 'hatch' and I applied her 'touch up' color and 'clear coat' and you can't tell where the original mark was . Works good and covers well. Put first coat on lightly, wait a day and then apply second coat. Do the same with the 'clear coat' and put it on lightly also applying two coats to seal the color in on her Jeep Compass.

Color matches perfect. Only problem was using the clear coat, need to apply it very gently because pressing to hard takes the color coat off. That should be emphasized in your instructions. Very satisfied with the product. [ATU Note: touch up brush/pen benefits from lighter coats and longer times between coats. Aerosol benefits from heavier wet coats and a lot of dry time between coats. In both products applying 2 wet coats back to back will certainly smear the paint or shift the color.]
