Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1963 Chrysler (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Carlos P, owner of a 2005 Chrysler Sebring Sedan from Hayward, CA

This is the second time I'm using Automotive Touchup Products. The first time was to repair a scratch on the rear plastic bumper of my wife's Honda. I used 4 of the products, a primer, a plastic activator, the base color and the top clear code. There was quite a bit of work on the prep and tape up of the car. I worked inside a one car garage and I had some constraints in space and ventilation. It took me couple of days to complete the job because the number of coats I used for the primer and the sanding in between. I repeated this process with the base color. With all this, I was able to repair (and fill), the scratch and blend perfectly with the clear top coat. The end results were outstanding, although there was some added labor on my part (which I really enjoyed it), I was able to save $700-$1000 from a repair shop to do the same thing. In addition to the paint products, I purchased from 2 types of auto painting masking tape by 3M (one has a plastic folded mask to mask larger areas around the work area), and also different wet sand paper grits to do the initial prep work. My last purchase was for 3 touchup products to repair a very small scratch on my Chrysler front bumper. Haven't completed the repair just yet, but I'm confident on the results being the same and just as good as my first time with the Honda. This is the reason I went back to Automotive Touchup Products. Plus the order process and delivery is just as they claim, perfect. Thank you guys!
