Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1987 Chrysler Lebaron Sedan is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Brad K, owner of a 1987 Chrysler from Dayton, OH

I painted the whole top of my car with your products, hood, roof and trunklid. I haven't even rubbed it out yet and it looks good already. Oh and the paint matched perfectly on my "87" Chrysler Lebaron. Mabe it will hold up another 25 years LOL. Thank you worth every penny!!!

Scott , owner of a 1988 Chrysler from FL

I had my 1988 Chrysler Lebaron painted about 18 years ago, and at that time, they broke the electric mirror on it. They paid for a replacement mirror, but only painted it with single stage paint (I found out years later when it faded while the remainder of the car didn't). I have another car that I accidentally scraped against my garage door. The quote to fix that was $1300, so I wanted to try your products. I figured I would buy your product to try on my faded mirror to see how it works. I figured that the worst case scenario, the mirror would look the same as it already did. I was very impressed with the paint and especially the clear coat. The finish came out better than the original paint job. I liked how the clear coat went on smooth and didn't run much. I would have been satisfied if it came out rough and had to be sanded and buffed, but it came out smooth enough that I do not need to buff it. It came out so well that I was able to redo two other panels in the back next to the trunk that had clear coat starting to peel a little and two small panels next to the front windshield. Those sections came out great as well and blend right in. I went ahead and ordered the paint for my other car and am excited to get that fixed as well.
