Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Chrysler Imperial is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Chose your product because I wanted large spray cans then the small ones you find in automotive stores. I had 3 major rust areas around wheel wells that needed not only some body work and then repainting. Also I have assurances that it is a new product and not something that has been sitting on the shelves. The products worked as you stated - matching perfectly - I'm guessing since I followed the instructions on the cans. Primer coats first, then the base coats to cover the primer and then to the high gloss clear coat. I couldn't be more happier if I had gone through a body shop which would have charged me a whole lot more then what I paid for the paint. With a light buff around the paint job - you can't tell where the repair/repaint was done. Thank you for your great products.

A couple of years ago I had my 2007 Ford Fusion professionally touched up where the clear coat had started flaking off. Now the clear coat has flaked off in other areas on this car and there was also a 6"X2" rust spot that needed repair. After reading several reviews on your website I decided I would give it a try. The job was so easy to do and it came out just as good or better than the job I paid a professional to do. The color matched absolutely perfectly. I didn't even mask some parts off. I couldn't tell where the new paint met with original paint. I'm glad I bought the 12 oz aerosol can to use when it happens again. My old Fusion looks awesome and I plan to keep it looking like that. Yesterday, I just ordered another 12 aerosol can for my 2000 pickup truck. I am no professional body man, but the job I just did on my Fusion says otherwise.
