Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1976 Datsun (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

We have purchased before and the colors are spot on. Wouldn’t purchase touch up from anyone else, when someone needs touch up, we send them your way. Thanks

Edward C, owner of a 1976 Datsun from Windermere, FL

Purchased 2 -12oz cans of paint 1 can clear coat and 1 -pen and 1-clear coat pen. The color matching was absolutely perfect and sprayed on with no problem.. clear coat spray also excellent. The only problem I had was clear coat pen. The tip learned creating a drip so I couldn’t use it. Overall I would rate product a 9 out of 10.

I highly recommend this company for the product they supplied. In 2016 I had all rust removed and entire car repainted so paint was relatively new. I ended up getting 2 very small stone chips in drivers door and decided to try touch up. I was skeptical it would match. I ordered pen in color and clear coat and hoped it would not stand out as mismatch. IT WAS PERFECT MATCH !!!!! I know right where to look and I still can’t see them. I couldn’t use the clear coat because the pen would drip. The tip was not secure. I also ordered 12oz can with paint and clear coat touching up engine compartment and just reordered the 12oz paint. Don’t be skeptical like I was. Pen and 12oz can were PERFECT. ED CHANDLER 11/24/2019
