I bought my van with 6000 miles. It had been wrecked, and the rear door had a repair on the lower seam, that was rusting. Also the drivers door sill was worn badly. I treated the rust with a chemical, and the sill with a mild compound. Used the brush touch paint, a few coats, to hide the blackened rust area, and a few coats on the sill, getting bigger application as coats went on. 2 or 3 coats total. 15 minutes later, I cleared with the brush/bottle clear. Also did some touchups on the door edges, and a stone chip on the hood. You CAN'T see any of the repair now. Looks as good as if a body shop had sprayed the door sill! Im very pleased with the products!
