Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1970 Ford Truck is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Peter J, owner of a 1969 Ford from Saugerties, NY

Perfect match. Quick turn around

Jeffrey B, owner of a 1969 Ford Truck from Boulder, UT

Paint was spot on. Had to look up all colors as the search engine did not show the right color for the make and year. Was skeptical at the color on-line to the car color. Due to my skepticism Automotive Touch Up gave me the number to a Ford resource center where they look up specifics to the vehicle. Got the information, and bought the paint. Sprayed the test paper and perfecto! 1969 Ford Aqua Reef is a great color! Have not painted the truck yet; needs to be a little warmer. They where great! All in all everything has worked out well. Now its my turn to get the interior painted and make it look great! Thanks!
