The paint was chipping off the fuel door on my 1978 Ford LTD. I took the fuel door off the car, sanded it down, fresh primer, 3 coats of Automotive Touchup paint, and 3 coats of Automotive Touchup clear coat, and you can't tell it was ever repaired. The paint has 100% perfect match and looks high quality- it's beautiful.
I love the 1k SprayMAX primer that I purchased. It lays super flat and smooth. It requires very little sanding when using 800 sandpaper.
And because the primer/sealer is so smooth you get better paint coverage.
1k spraymax primer is $2 more but it's worth it.
