Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1987 Ford S-MAX is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Brad D, owner of a 1986 Ford from Poulsbo, WA

It looks great, actually better than the rest since it is on a 1986 pickup and there was a small amount of fading that took place. It would be nice if that could be factored in when they mix the paint but would probably be too difficult to determine the amount without a sample. Regardless I'm very happy. A few wet coats of the clear coat is very critical in getting a nice looking finished product.

Angela M, owner of a 1986 Ford from Marion, NC

I have a small business at home and have ordered paint more than once. It's always a perfect match.
