Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1989 Ford Police Car is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Chad J, owner of a 1989 Ford from New Palestine, IN

This is the third time ordering products, I have no complaints as a great match to my 30 year old paint, if you are looking for an easy way to order and get what you need use automotive touch up.

Michael Z, owner of a 1989 Ford from Watertown, CT

Good quality paint. I used it to paint my engine compartment so it didn't have to be exact. The lead time on getting this was a little long but I am happy that I waited. We have a few local parts stores that mix paints and put them in spray cans but they cost twice as much without the clear. The clear wasn't as glossy I had hoped but maybe a couple more coats would help. One can was enough to do the engine compartment 2 coats and a few other small parts that I wanted to match. Bottom line, good product, good price, I would certainly order again.
