Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1991 Ford F350 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Charles M, owner of a 1992 Ford Thunderbird from Louisa, VA

I painted over a dent on the door that someone in a parking lot made from banging my car with their door, along with some other dings and scratches on the car body and bumper (it worked well on the bumper, too!) It's a perfect match for the car body. It's hard to tell where the old paint ends and the new paint begins. The primer, paint and clear coat worked perfectly together. There is no difference between the new paint and the paint on the car. We saved a lot of money compared to how much a body shop would have charged. Thanks for a great product, Automotive Touchup! Keep up the good work!

David L, owner of a 1992 Ford Explorer from Butler, IN

Match was great, primer was a little thick but all in all this is true automotive paint meaning you can sand/wet sand and buff rattle can paint JUST LIKE paint shop paint which for me is a first. Hands down better than rattle can paint found in auto parts stores and worth ordering. I used this to fix a rust issue over a large area and it turned out well. The more I buff it over time the closer the shine and texture get and that is WITHOUT rubbing compound just wax and a low powered buffer. Buffed it 3 times so far and each time it gains about a foot on reflection clarity ... Color/and metallic is spot on.
