Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1991 Ford Streetka is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David L, owner of a 1992 Ford Explorer from Butler, IN

Match was great, primer was a little thick but all in all this is true automotive paint meaning you can sand/wet sand and buff rattle can paint JUST LIKE paint shop paint which for me is a first. Hands down better than rattle can paint found in auto parts stores and worth ordering. I used this to fix a rust issue over a large area and it turned out well. The more I buff it over time the closer the shine and texture get and that is WITHOUT rubbing compound just wax and a low powered buffer. Buffed it 3 times so far and each time it gains about a foot on reflection clarity ... Color/and metallic is spot on.
