Very happy with the preliminary results of my Automotive Touchup project. I had a small area where the factory paint had peeled. Sanded the affected area until the paint quit flaking off. Applied this firm's primer, basecoat and clearcoat using back-taping to help blend with the original paint. Got an almost perfect color match. I had several small scuff marks on the bumper of my 2000 Mustang GT.

I have used the Ford E-9 Lazer Red aerosol, pen and spray gun paint and the paint matches perfectly to the original paint from the factory. I have ordered other colors as well but the lazer red I wasn't expecting to be so close to color matching. I will only buy color matching paint from Automotivetouchup! The 2k clearcoat has stood up to the harsh winters and hot summers in the northeast whether it's from a rattle can or for a spray gun. High quality products. The Laser Red paint on my 2000 Mustang GT convertible was in pretty good shape except for the rear spoiler which had pit spots thru the clear coat. I purchased 12 Oz. aerosol cans of Automotive Touchup primer, Laser Red base coat E9 and gloss clear coat to attempt to refinish the rear spoiler. I also purchased a package of 1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper and a tack cloth to complement my refinishing job. I removed my spoiler, cleaned and sanded prior to priming. After the three (3) coats of primer dried I sprayed four (4) coats of base and then four (4) coats of gloss clear coat. Considering the car is thirteen (13) years old, the Automotive Touchup Paint matched extremely well! My wife and friends can't believe the refinishing job came from a can! With the aid of the professionals at AutomotiveTouchUp side scoop on my 2000 Mustang was a perfect match. I would recommend this company and its products for these reasons: 1. The spray can nozzle are not the cheap crap you get at the regular automotive stores, and retail store like Wal-Mart. 2. The primer that I purchased was great, it wet sanded really well and made the perfect base needed for the paint to adhere to. 3.
