Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2013 Ford Tempo is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Elva D, owner of a 2014 Ford Focus from Georgetown, DE

Perfect color match, great coverage.

David, owner of a 2012 Ford Expedition from Eugene, OR

I originally purchased touch up paint from the Ford dealership in my area and was very disappointed in the color match. It was way too light and did not have the “Metallic” look. Not holding out much hope I decided to try some paint from Automotive Touchup. The Touch up paint I received was a near perfect match and had the right Metallic look. I did not originally order the clear coat and after drying I found the Automotive Touchup paint did not have quite the luster or shine of the original paint. Subsequently, I ordered a bottle of the clear coat and this brought out the shine in repaired area. I would recommend buying the Clear Coat at the same time as the paint to improve the finish and save a little postage.
