To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. Finally finished with prepping, priming, and painting two new fenders for my 1996 Geo Metro. Sent in the code for the vehicle paint, and was happy with the results! Bought both my Aerosol Paint and Clear Sealer from Automotive Touchup which was a big help. The premixed aerosol cans were convenient to use and did the job. Placed both fenders in the p/u to bake and harden. All I need to do is light wet sand/polish to remove some orange peel, and they are ready to install. I was so pleased the I ordered more paint and clear, so that I can repaint rear decklid and hood! Thanks for a great product! Would highly recommend Automotive TouchUp to anyone doing it themselves.
