Choose your Automotive paint color for your 1996 GMC Medium Duty

Restore Your 1996 GMC Medium Duty Finish In Two Steps

Select Your GMC's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1996 GMC Medium Duty using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1996 GMC Medium Duty is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Dennis G, owner of a 1997 GMC Yukon from Tafton, PA

After trying for a few weeks looking for my color paint "Red Cherry Metallic" at GMC dealers telling me all they had was dried up paint I decided to look on the web and reading all the positive reviews I decided what the heck. Well the color showed up and it was dead on! A Perfect Match! I can't thank you enough for a spectacular product at a great price.

James B, owner of a 1997 GMC from Sedona, AZ

Twenty year old, DARK BLUE, without a paint code from mfg. in door jamb info, color match pretty darn close in an area of paint loss, not real noticeable. Real pleased with the aerosol dispenser, but cleaned nozzle after each coat to prevent clogging or spatter. Paint went on smoothly, but my bad, failed to order the CLEAR COAT as well...did so shortly after I realized my mistake. Back to the masking process. Good product, well packaged. But these guys have been in the touch up business since the Last Supper...no wonder their stuff is GOOD...
