Restore Your 1997 GMC Safari Finish In Two Steps

Select Your GMC's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 GMC Safari using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 GMC Safari is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Manuel C, owner of a 1997 GMC Safari from Derby, CT

I am very happy with the paint and will be ordering again. I give it 5 stars and will tell everyone I know to get paint from you.

James B, owner of a 1997 GMC from Sedona, AZ

Twenty year old, DARK BLUE, without a paint code from mfg. in door jamb info, color match pretty darn close in an area of paint loss, not real noticeable. Real pleased with the aerosol dispenser, but cleaned nozzle after each coat to prevent clogging or spatter. Paint went on smoothly, but my bad, failed to order the CLEAR COAT as well...did so shortly after I realized my mistake. Back to the masking process. Good product, well packaged. But these guys have been in the touch up business since the Last Supper...no wonder their stuff is GOOD...

Glenn K, owner of a 1997 GMC from Cordova, TN

Great match old truck and it was red can’t tell where repair was made.
