Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2007 Gmc Full Pickup is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

John K, owner of a 2006 GMC Canyon from Auburn, WA

Well folks, it took some time to prepare and paint the damaged driver's side rear fender, as weather and other things delayed my efforts. The damage was on the lower part of the fender, and it was very difficult to repair and prepare, as the bumper was in the way. Bottom-line....I sprayed straight down from the rear, and then came to the side and sprayed from the rear and I tried to "feather" the stream as it fanned out towards the undamaged part of the fender. The color was good (as I found a can of my previous order which had enough paint to do the current damage. Feathering was the tough part as I couldn't easily spray a solid stream and then move it out to feather. The sprayed surface looked a little "sparse" in spots, but I played with it a bit more, and after curing, I used some pretty hard car wax to blend it all together. So I have a damaged spot fixed, not even noticeable unless one really sought out problems, and the color blend looks good. (The previous cans that I ordered were used to paint the canopy for the truck. Am I please with the two applications, and the paint as well....... you bet I AM! Thanks for the matching paint, and I do have an extra can for any other needs for repair! (Hope there aren't any)!!

Randy R, owner of a 2006 GMC Denali from Houston, TX

Good morning. The paint match was easy to identify and the ordering process was simple. The paint was an exact match and looked fantastic. Make sure you use the finish, in my case the clear coat. Excellent, thanks.
