Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1995 Honda Fit Shuttle is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Exact same color just what I needed. Thanks

Terry D, owner of a 1994 Honda Accord from Roswell, GA

I enjoy refurbishing older cars. That often entails some paint repair. I found Automotive Touchup several years ago and have ordered paint and supplies a number of times. The paint match has always been very good to perfect; much better than the company I previously used. While the match is very important, it also is very easy to use. It covers well and buffs out well enough to appear factory. While their instructions say that you can do buff it out the following day, I have had better success by allowing the clear coat to dry for a few days before final sanding and compounding.
