Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Darrell, owner of a 2004 Honda Element from Aurora, CO

Since I've previously purchased paint from ATU for my other Honda, I didn't hesitate to order again when I needed to repair some minor nicks and scratches on my Element. The savings over having to take it to a shop along with the learning experience and pride from DIY is well worth it. I've already recommended ATU to several people as I've been 100% satisfied with their products and service. Be sure to check out their How-To videos.

Tim C, owner of a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe from Capitola, CA

I just purchased this car, the clear coat was very bad on the trunk spoiler. I sanded the spoiler, cleaned it with acetone and applied three coats of paint and three coats of clear. It came out good but there was one low spot that I should a smoothed over with body putty, to get a perfect job. The use of putty wasn't discussed in the video and perhaps it would be a good suggestion, as the paint could fill the void. The color match was perfect. I hope for the same on my 64 MGB, when I repaint the inside of the hood, or bonnet. Cheers Tim
