Just completed repairing my roof and trunk lid due to failing clear coat on my Civic. Please note that this is the first time I have ever tried to paint anything with a HVLP spray gun. I thought that the order process was very easy. Items were well shipped and arrived on time with no damage. I thought that the quality of the paint and the 2K clear was very good. I was somewhat disappointed on the color match. Of course I should have blended the trunk lid into the rear quarters to minimize this, which I did not. But overall, I am satisfied with the project and it looks so much better than before I started.

Excellent color match! Very happy with the base coat - sprays on nicely. I recommend upgrading the clear coat to 2K Glamour for dark base-colors. It matches the existing clear better in gloss and depth that can easily show on dark, metallic bases.

Great economic repair/replacement for the bumper cover. Color match was spot on, clear coat coverage was good. I understand that this is not a professional body shop repaint, however due to the age 2006 and mileage 230,000 and depreciated value of the automobile this was a good choice to keep the car looking good and holding its resale value. Replaced wheel well liners, splash guard, and bumper cover this auto rides low and damage was from parking stops and tumble weeds. I painted the bumper cover in my garage after wetting down the floor and putting cardboard down. Used a saddle stand to raise the cover off the floor. I did get a few "dust marks" that rubbed out after the paint was dry. Total paint time 6 hours. I wore a mask, and opened the garage door between coats.

The paint matched incredibly well for such an old car. Unfortunately I had one can that kept "spitting" drops onto the hood I was painting. those drops took away the paint that was already applied and I basically had to start all over again. Just glad I was working on an old car.

Aftermarket paint shops wanted $650 to repair the peeling roof. A little careful sanding, and your paint and clearcoat were just a little bit cheaper. LOL

Amazing results!!!
