I use the touch up paint on two different cars with two different colors. Initially I was a little annoyed that the pearl white required a base coat and a mid coat. However after using it, I realized that this was the only way to go as it is a perfect match, and am very pleased. The silver metallic was also a perfect match. I find your bottles much handier and easier to use than the pens sold in the dealerships which in my experience always seem to be dried out and clog. I highly recommend your products.

My daughter cosmetically decorated the rear door and dog leg on the rear quarter panel of her car with the remnants of a road sign. It wasn't bad enough to take to the body shop but there was bare metal showing. I ordered the primer, base paint, mid coat and clear coat in aerosol spray. I knew to do it right would require painting the entire door panel and rear quarter but all I wanted was a "close enough" color match and cover the bare metal. A little bit of sanding and some glazing putty for the prep work and then the paint. I was surprised how close the color match was - even with the tri-level.
This will get her through the college years - let's hope!

This was my first basecoat/clearcoat project. I had to replace the front bumper cover, which was black primed plastic. The paint color is indigo blue pearl, which most companies sell as a tri-coat. The ready to spray paint matched perfectly, and the clearcoat kit is great. I ordered the passenger mirror for my daughter's Sonata. I went online at AutomotiveTouchUp to get the exact color of paint as the car. I taped the mirror, lightly sanded the mirror housing, primed and applied 4 coats of base paint and then finished it off with 3 coats of the clear coat. It matched the car perfectly. Perfect colour match! The rooftop shark fin XM radio antenna on my car was a mess. The car is 5 years old and metallic red. The clear coat had 50% peeled and the base looked pink. I took it off and sanded it to the bare plastic. After spraying on the base coat, clear coating 3 times, sanding with 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper, and polishing with Meguiars clear coat safe liquid compound, I had a brand new looking antenna! The metallic look is exactly right. No one would ever guess it has been redone. Thank you.

The paint match was perfect. I was repairing a small paint chip on the rear bumper and probably did not need the clearcoat, it it does make the finish shine. I suggest three thin coats of the base coat followed by two thin coats of mid coat. This covered the chip and looked fairly smooth.

The paint went on well and is an exact match. I used the 2 ounce bottle with attached brush in the cap. Only glitch I had was when I went to shake up the bottle again during application; I thought I had it screwed on all the way and didn't; it was just barely loose, but that was enough to splash my clothes with paint, which did not come out. That's what I get for not changing out of good clothes before painting. So make sure the lid is screwed on tight before you shake!

Amazing! I never did any kind of body work before, but I'm pretty handy and a DIY type of guy. I was rear ended and had 2 puncture holes on the bumper and a dent on the trunk. I checked out the videos online for some guidance and tips and I took my time. First I filled the dents in with body filler and then, sanded, primed and sprayed color then clear. I can't believe the results, and this was before I even got a chance to polish! I didn't expect it to look so good and I was going to be happy if it just concealed the damage and made it less noticeable, but the damage is gone. Looks like a pro did it!
