Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2019 Hyundai ST1 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jim H, owner of a 2018 Hyundai Tucson from IL

The paint was a perfect match. It is also much easier to touch up than with those slender bottles you can get at the auto parts store. This is because it has more trying time--with those things that the dealer or auto-parts have, the paint turns to tar by the time you get the brush from the bottle to the nick you're working on and they make a mess. These from ATU have what I consider just the right drying time--quick enough that you don't get runs, but it gives you enough time to carefully apply it while it's still wet enough to settle smoothly.

Ed S, owner of a 2018 Hyundai Tucson from Spanaway, WA

I was actually surprised how well this product went on. I've used lots of touch up paint in the past. I usually experience the paint 'globbing' on .. usually requiring 'thinning' The paint as well as the micro dabbers made the application much easier.
