Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Isuzu D-MAX is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Clayton B, owner of a 1998 Isuzu Hombre from Western CT

After the brief expected delay in receiving the paint and clear coat touch-up bottles I began to apply the paint to some that I had previously primed on the hood of my truck. The color match was very good when compared to a door area, however the hood of this 1998 truck has faded quite a bit and the paint was darker when applied there. Also, I found it necessary to first remove some excess paint from the applicator brush before applying to the pre-primed spots, otherwise the application was too heavy. This was also a useful procedure when covering fine scratches elsewhere. I actually did not use the clearcoat on the hood spots as I sprayed the entire hood with a can of clearcoat I already had. I did use the clearcoat touchup bottles over the small scratches elsewhere on the truck and I worked well. Overall this is a quality product and worked as well as could be expected given the age of my vehicle. Perhaps the applicator brush could be modified to hold a little less paint on each dip into the bottle.

Ron F, owner of a 1998 Isuzu Trooper II from Henderson, TX

Quality paint that matched my vehicle's color precisely. I couldn't be more pleased!
