Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1967 Jaguar (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Terrance P, owner of a 1967 Jaguar from North Augusta, SC

The availability of this particular color, and other colors I have purchased for other cars, was great. The ordering and shipping process also went smoothly.

M Daverin, owner of a 1967 Jaguar from Tampa

Everyone knows about Murphy's Law when it comes to doing small repairs and trying to match paint for ANY car, let alone a classic with a few door dings. I was leary about shopping the net for a color match for my 67 XKE, but was blown away when the paint dried and the clear coat was applied. The match is perfect!

John K, owner of a 1967 Jaguar from Philadelphia, PA

Very nice product. I have a classic Jaguar which was in need of some touch up so I ordered paint and clear coat. After making repairs, the areas were sanded with 800 grit, the paint applied according to the instructions, wet sanded with 1000 grit, and the clear coat applied. When the finish had dried, any orange peel was wet sanded with 1500 grit, then polished with 3M products. After the process was completed, the newly painted areas blended very nicely with the surrounding areas. I was also pleased that the spray nozzles resisted clogging.
