Michael Hamilton Nixa MO the paint pen was the exact color and the clear coat finished it. It was great and the time I got it was really quick. Great people to order from, would recommend them to everyone. thanks

My 1998 Jaguar XJR had a couple small nicks. Jaguar no longer produces the touch up paint for that model year. I consulted with the dealer to be sure I had the correct color code.
I then found Automotive TouchUp on line. I called their order department, and they quickly processed my order, and sent it out to me. The only negative was UPS. The tracking stated I would receive the package on the following Saturday. However, I was told it was given to the US Postal Service for local delivery, and it was delivered two days later.
The good news is, the color matches perfectly, and all is well! [ATU Note: Smartpost/Sure Post is a hybrid mail system which utilizes the post office for the final mile of the delivery. It saves about a dollar or two to most customers and about 4 dollars for rural customers.]

I have finally been able to use the aerosol cans that AutomotiveTouchup had sold to me, due to winter temperatures. I have not sprayed the deck lid yet as that will entail substantial prep and a little longer warmer day temp. However I have used it on some of the items/parts that are attached to and part of the car and I must say the match is quite impressive so far. So I will say kudos to the folks at AutomotiveTouchup for the color match. I know it may sound like a typical feedback comment but the catch here is the car color it is Amaranth. An eggplant sort of color, dark almost black until the sun hits it and then you see the purple. The twist in the color is the metal flake, not silver but a fine gold metal flake that just pops at the right angle in the sun. I think it is a great color for the car and so the match was oh so important. I will report again when I finally do the deck lid and see if the same holds true for that. Keep you posted. Good job so far guys.
