I wanted to touch up some hood damage from a bigger collision which took out my front fender. Didn't do the hood repair initially because I didn't have the extra money. Okay, the order took a little longer to arrive than expected. But after a call to Automotivetouchup.com, I was assured my order would arrive before the weekend - it did.
Here's the repair. I have a 97 Jeep TJ in Gun Metal Pearl. The paint is original. The front edge of the passenger fender was bent back by the PO. I had to push the fender back into shape, clean up the rust and prime. The drivers side fender had the typical rust spot on top of the fender above the support bracket. I cleaned up the rust, welded up the holes, used Bondo to fill in the welding imperfections and primed the area.
I was happy with bodywork but was dreading the painting process.
I searched the Internet and came across Automotivetouchup.com.
I purchased two spray cans of base coat (Jeep PQ7) and two spray cans of SprayMax 2K Clear Glamour clear coat (don't forget the respirator).
I followed the instructions on the website and watched a few YouTube videos and Wow my fenders look amazing!
If I would have taken my Jeep to a body shop and paid a $1000 for the same results I would have been happy.
However, It took me a few hours to do the bodywork and about $125 in material (including Bondo, sandpaper and masking supplies).
For a "rattle can" paint job, in a garage, the results are amazing. The base coat was a perfect match. The SprayMax 2K clear coat allowed me to lay down a deep gloss finish.
I will definitely buy from Automotivetouchup.com again.

Ordered touch up spray paint for my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. To paint a small spot about the size of the palm of your hand was going to cost $200 at the body shop. This paint cost me about $15. Wow! The color match was spot on. Saved a ton of cash and looks amazing!! Also, I didn't expect this, but the quality of the spray nozzle in the aerosol can far exceeded my expectations. Took flood lights off of an old 1997 jeep tj. I had to fill in the mounting bracket holes and the electric cable pass through on the A piller. Excellent color match. I can't tell where the patch area was and this was on an area that had to be blended. Made me feel like a pro.

My Jeep Wrangler color you don't see it every day (Pearl Bright Jade), even the name is uncommon. Well apparently somebody doesn't like me or my Jeep and decided to scratch one of my doors and instead of paying a couple of hundreds at a body shop I decided to take the risk and order the paint online through this company. Just did the inside of the new driver side fender of my 1997 Jeep Wrangler .... Clear coated and looks better than what was done when I purchased vehicle new in 97. I'm going to get price for the outside and if too high will consider the challenge of doing it my self. The touch up paint was great also... Did some scratches and wet sanded with 2000 grit buffed and unable to tell it had a scratch. Great stuff... brush needs to be more pointed.... I used an art center point brush results were better.
Good Paint and better than provided by manufacturer.

We removed a light bar from our 1997 Jeep Wrangler. Patched the screw holes, then needed to find a good paint to hopefully match.
