Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1996 Kia Seltos is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Alan M, owner of a 2005 Kia Optima from Boardman, OR

Our insurance company sent us a check instead of sending us to a body shop. There reason is that we live in a rural location. Our car was involved in a parking lot bump with a little body damage but mainly paint scrape. Got a hold of AutomotiveTouchup and sent for and received the kit to match our car color. Now I have the damage are painted plus have been going around and finding those little spots that show that dark under coating and painting them. The color doesn't make the same exactly as the car is ten years old but it put some bucks in our pockets for some other projects. The products were and are of excellent quality much better than the local hardware. Will buy again if needed.

David M, owner of a 2005 Kia Sorento from El Paso, TX

The k2 blue paint sprayed perfectly. Needed two coats to cover completely if sprayed about 8 inches away. It matched the original paint perfectly. I used two cans (12 oz) on the hood and two cans of clear coat. I just had a little run in the middle of the hood. Probably my fault for spraying too slow. The hood looks great. I'll have to sand the 2 inch run and spray with two more cans to have a glossy finish. Two cans will not work. I recommend three cans of K2 for a Sorento hood, and four cans of Clear Coat for the finish on the Sorento Hood. About $90.00 or about $400 professionally. Sand smooth with 500 grit, then 1000 or 1200 grit before painting. Lots of work sanding if you have the time.
