Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2003 Kia Telluride is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Gregory S, owner of a 2003 Kia Sorento from Cudahy, WI

Perfect match, super easy to apply, excellent product!! Fast shipping, saved me hundreds!!!

Drew S, owner of a 2004 Kia Optima from Connellsville, PA

The application was really simple. I purchased an attachment for my drill to buff away the rust on my body and then cleaned the area with some window cleaner so it evaporated quickly. I sprayed with the primer and waited 24 hours (although I could have moved forward much sooner than that). I did not sand between the primer and the paint. It's not extremely noticeable, but I would recommend taking some ultra fine sandpaper to make it nice and smooth before applying the paint. After the primer dried, I masked off where I didn't want my paint and, with smooth even sprays, covered all the affected areas. It's hard to say without pictures on hand, but one can of my body paint covered 6-8 sq. ft on my body, and that was after I took the paint down to the bare metal with sanding. One can of clear coat left plenty to go around. You may want to purchase extra paint if you want factory-style coverage, but from a distance you can't tell mine was ever re-painted. This is the second car I have purchased paint for from AutomotiveTouchup and I'm very happy with the results, price, and service. Thanks!!
