Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1988 Land Rover 45 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Dylan G, owner of a 1987 Land Rover from Arlington, TX

The Paint is an exact match of Caspian blue for my 87 Range Rover classic the paint looks great and is why I will continue to use this company for any future paint work! 😎

Everett B, owner of a 1989 Land Rover from Beaufort, SC

I have an 1989 Land Rover Defender - kind of red and black in color. I say kind of, as the red part seemed to vary in color. Of course there are no paint codes anywhere on the vehicle, so looking at what reds were available for an 89, I ordered code number 390 (Portofino red). Luckily it is the exact color I needed. The thing is, Land Rovers Defenders were not imported to the US until about mid 90's, so to be able to but paint here in the US was a great help. It comes already to spray paint. There are for's and against that - but it worked fine for me. Great quality and color match!
