Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2000 Lexus Is Sport Cross is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Joe A, owner of a 1999 Lexus ES300 from San Leandro, CA

Purchased a used Lexus from a used car dealer that looked good except for the side mirrors. The paint was chipping off both sides and had rock dings all over them. The dealer tried painting over them but it still didn't look good. After sanding, filling the rock dings, and sanding again, I painted them with a shaker can. Didn't get the clear coat in a shaker can as I already had some but, I did get a small jar of paint and clear coat for chips and scratches. Both the shaker can and the jar of paint matches perfectly. Glad I decided to do this myself and not pay someone a lot more to do it and, the mirrors look like new now.

Rich L, owner of a 1999 Lexus RX300 from Honolulu, HI
