Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1996 Lincoln Mark Lt is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Tim, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII from New Brighton, MN

I am very happy with the results I got from your products. My 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII is Dark Navy Metallic, the door handle broke, and the replacement was unpainted, your paint matched the rest of the car perfectly. I am sorry I can't include pictures at this time because our weather has been extremely cold in Minnesota -12 below and more, but my intent is to do some more cosmetic work when the weather is warmer, I will definitely order some more paint for some light touch-up I have been wanting to do. I have already referred your web site to some of my friends. I found your short how to do it videos very helpful.

William K, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII from Florence, SC

Excellent match! I painted a used door handle on my buddy's Lincoln. He's very picky and he was very pleased with the match. One thing you could do is on a setup like this, double check with the customer as to whether they have the clear coat. I didn't know this was a 3 step process. You may have mentioned it and I didn't fully read before I ordered. But it all worked out Thank You Bill
