Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Lincoln LS8 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Joseph T, owner of a 2001 Lincoln LS8 from Hobe Sound, FL

It was nice to locate this company to get custom color for my auto (color was not available in conventional auto stores) in a spray can to make a small job easy without having to use a conventional spray. Also they were quick to suggest the proper lacquer primer and clear coat for my car paint requirement. Mike T

Daniel C, owner of a 2001 Lincoln LS8 from Chrisney, IN

Your paint matched perfectly on both my cars!!!

Andrew C, owner of a 2001 Lincoln LS8 from Camano Island, WA

Great color match for our 13 year old car. One suggestion would be to offer a single-step product in the same small bottles with the brush cap that you currently provide. With the 2-step, it's very difficult to touch up small small chips so that they are not noticeable. First you have to apply the base coat, which dries flat (not glossy) and then to recover the gloss, the clear coat is put on. This results in 2 applications of paint which are piled on top of each other, making the repair much less invisible. What I do is mix the clear and base together in another container and then touch up the chip(s). Makes for a much better finish match and a more satisfactory repair. Andy

Monty S, owner of a 2001 Lincoln LS8 from Magnolia, TX

The color match was great! Easy fix to a cosmetic problem. I will definitely use your products again if needed.
