Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2012 Lincoln MKZ is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Perfect match

Benjamin S, owner of a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from Oak Vale, MS

Great company and product. Worked with me when the shipping service lost my package. Paint was a perfect match.

Robert D, owner of a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from Fuquay Varina, NC

I purchased individual bottles of primer, paint and clear coat so that the finished job will look good and stand the test of time without rusting. I repaired two chips in the paint on my 2012 Lincoln MKZ that were fairly large. The primer went on smooth and evenly which created a great base to apply the paint. I applied three coats of the touch up paint and the color matched the original exactly. After the paint dried I applied two coats of clear coat which blended to the original paint job without buffing. The finished job looked great! Choosing quality products from Automotive Touchup proved to be a good decision.

Kevin W, owner of a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from Fort Worth, TX

Excellent services! Love the easy transactions! Thank you!

Fred A, owner of a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from Santa Maria, CA

Used the 2 oz. brush in a bottle for a couple of small rock chips on the hood. Paint matched perfectly. Used a Q-tip after removing the cotton and sharpened the paper to a point. Used very little paint but several coats dabbed into the chip until even with the surface paint, then applied a dab of clear coat to finish. No longer can find the chip. Covered perfectly to original factory silver paint. Highly recommend.

Anthony U, owner of a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from Rochester, NY

Color match was perfect and a great value.

James P, owner of a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from Omaha, NE

Color match was great. I had a little trouble with the midcoat acting as a solvent on the ground coat. Perhaps I didn't let it dry long enough. My touch up was for a very small rock chip, and the end product looks ok.
