Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2019 Lotus Exiga is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Steve K, owner of a 2008 Lotus from Clarksburg, MD

Thank you so much for the base coat and clear coat. You matched the paint perfectly on my 2008 lotus even in metallic, it blended perfectly. The clearcoat made it look like blown glass! I'll never shop anywhere else for touch up or matched paint supplies ever again! I really liked the custom "rattle can" mix, the nozzle gave a nice fine and even spray. Steve

Jerry B, owner of a Lotus from Beaverton, OR

A few years ago I began rebuilding a fiberglass-bodied Lotus Europa. I did all my own body work and paint, using a modern pearlescent paint on the body. When I began installing the rear window, I discovered the paint below the roofline was a bit thin, but not bad enough that I wanted to go through all the fuss with buying more paint, mixing it, masking off the shop and using the compressor and gun to remedy the problem. I ordered a can of your aerosol paint and one of clear coat. I masked the area that I didn't want overspray on and hit the thin spots with a couple of coats, applied at about 30 minute intervals. The match is absolutely spot on perfect and filled in the thin area like it was never there. Thanks for a great product.
