I've had this Miata for 23 years and the biggest problem I've had with it is repairing the rust which would periodically appear. None of the auto stores stocked the original color, so I would try to match it up the best I could. I was never really satisfied with the results. I finally decided it was time to sell my "baby" and get a new car, but it needed some work to get it looking nice. I went with your paint, and I'm extremely happy that I did. The paint is as perfect a match as I've been able to get and the car looks the best that it has in years. I almost hate to get rid of it. I was unable to get touch up paint from the Mazda dealer for my 1990 Miata.
A previous owner had done some touch up with paint that was a poor color match.
There were also a couple of areas about the size of a quarter near the bottom
of the wheel wells. I am happy to say the Mariner Blue paint you provided was a
very good match. When you look at the car now, your eye glides right over the
touched up spots and you don't even notice them! Well worth the money!!

I recently purchased a 1990 Miata with just 37,000 miles. The car is in excellent shape, but there were a couple of small nicks here and there. I called the Miata dealer, but they didn't offer touch up paint for a car that old. So I got online and found automotivetouchup.com. I had some serious chips in my 1990 Mazda Miata, which is overall, a very pristine car. I ordered the touch up pens in primer, color, and clear coat. I have to say, I am VERY pleased with the result. Took off the wax with acetone before starting. I was skeptical, so did some chips below the mouth of the car. Came out perfect, and the big chip on the front fender where some SOB opened a door into it, which was deep, required a number of applications, but you now have to get your nose to it to see that it had been retouched. The color match(SU) is perfect,product is easy to apply and I, and my wife, are happy.
Good product, and it came quite promptly.
