Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Mazda 121 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mike S, owner of a 2007 Mazda Mazda6 from Rockfall, CT

I have been playing around with cars my whole life. This was my first experience with your product. I bought the aerosol base and clear to repair a couple of large, ugly chips on leading edge of the hood of my daughter's Mazda6. For whatever reason correct, paint code matched touch-up is hard to find for the Mazda. I could not find it in other brands, but it was not a problem on your website. I followed the directions and watched the videos. (Your videos could be a little longer, a little more in-depth). I liked the included spray-out card. The color match is not perfect, but really pretty close. (Keep in mind too that it's a small repair in a silver/grey with a lot of metallic on an eight year old car, applied by a non-professional operator - All things considered, it's really pretty good. I might still try a little wet 1500 grit and a more aggressive compound on my buffer to blend the repair in a little more). I should have taken some "before" pictures - it really does look so much better. Overall for the small amount of time and money invested, I'm happy with the results. I would definitely use your product again.

Fairley L, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Asheville, NC

Used your paint pen to touch up several chips in my true red 07 mx-5. Color match was perfect and was easy to use.
